Carolyn Cronyn-McGuire

School Manager

My name is Carolyn Cronyn-McGuire and I am the school manager at Young Minds Preschools.

I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator with over 25 years of experience in the field of early childhood education, 21 of those years have been in a supervisory/director role.

My role as school manager is to ensure all families are provided with the best possible experience at our schools from the registration/admissions process to any questions or queries that come up during their journey with us.

At Young Minds Burlington our Reggio program encourages children to explore their interests which in turn builds social skills, a love of learning, confidence and instills problem solving skills.
I look forward to seeing your children grow and flourish in our unique program.

Somy Hadidifard

Centre supervisor

Hello! My name is Somy Hadidifard and I am the Centre Supervisor at Young Minds Preschool in Burlington.

I have a Master’s Degree in Comparative Literature and have experience teaching English to teenagers and undergraduate students.

Since I have always loved working with young children I decided to be an RECE. After getting my diploma I started working in the ECE field mostly in the leadership positions.

Being part of young children’s learning and growth has been my passion for many years. I also love communicating, interacting and sharing stories with the families and guiding and sharing my experience with coworkers and that’s what encouraged me to become a leader.

I am very excited to meet you and your young children and spend time with them and be part of their growth at Young Minds Preschool.

Olere Toni Ayodele

Program Director

I go by Toni and I am the director of Young Minds Preschools.

I am an Ontario Certified Teacher but first an RECE. I have many years of experience creating and designing age appropriate learning programs for children.

We are excited to bring our new location to Burlington and we have heard from many families that this is the sort of program that they have been looking for. Young Minds Preschool offers a one stop learning hub for your children 8months – 12 years. It is simply the place to be. I believe that once children develop critical thinking skills, that is something that cannot be taken away. This is what we do at Young Minds creating learning experiences when certain skills and concepts can be formed.

Our program is designed for the 21st century learner and its goal is to foster lifelong learning skills. We know the Reggio program is unique in its approach hence we have created a space that is not only engaging but also would inspire your children to reach their full potential.

Shelly-Ann Crawford

Ms. Shelly Ann: A Passion for Early Learning

I consider myself a lifelong learner, and my journey in education has been a wonderfully rewarding one!

My career began as a high school teacher. Over the years, I’ve gained diverse teaching experience from working in both public and private school boards as a supply teacher.

The birth of my second child made me realize with absolute clarity that my true calling was in early childhood education. This personal conviction fueled my belief that the early years are the most crucial time for sparking a lifelong love of learning.

Driven by this new passion, I proudly completed my Early Childhood Studies diploma at Sheridan College, becoming a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in 2016.

My extensive experience across various age groups allows me to bring a unique and informed perspective to the preschool classroom. I am truly excited to use this knowledge and my unwavering passion to guide, support, and inspire every child at Young Mind Preschool as they embark on their own learning adventures.

Nicole Garcia

Hello! My name is Nicole Garcia.

I’m a passionate Early Childhood Educator who truly loves working with children and watching them grow each day. Before becoming an RECE, I started my journey as a swim instructor and lifeguard, where I discovered how much joy I find in helping children learn new skills and gain confidence.

I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to work with infants for about three years, and now, working with preschoolers has inspired me even more. Each age group brings something special, and I love being part of their discoveries, laughter, and milestones.

I would describe myself as fun, energetic, and always ready to sing and make the day brighter! I’m so happy to be part of the Young Minds Preschool family and to share in your child’s learning journey as they continue to grow and thrive.
