Nicole Dawson

My name is Nicole Dawson, a certified Chef dedicated to making mealtime a healthy and happy experience.

My journey is rooted in my upbringing in Jamaica, and my diverse career has given me unique skills I use every day. Before pursuing my true passion, I gained valuable experience in the hospitality sector as a chef and a hostess. The experience has provided valuable knowledge and skills to nurture your little ones.

Driven by a love for culinary arts, I followed my dream to Canada to study Professional Cooking at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, in Saskatchewan, where I proudly graduated as a certified chef with distinction.

For me, cooking is an act of love and nurturing. I am committed to using my culinary expertise to provide safe, delicious, and nutritious meals that help your little ones grow and thrive.

Hello, my name is Dawne.

My family and I live in Burlington and love this city. Previous to being a chef at YoungMinds I worked in the financial sector for 28 years. For the past 2 1/2 years I’ve had the pleasure of cooking for your children. Everyday brings a smile to my face and I strive to bring the best snacks and food to the table. I love interacting with the children and hearing their feedback about what they eat.

I literally have the best job!
